1. What is something that surprised you about the descriptions of Amish beliefs and lifestyle descriptions in Source 1? What is something you would like to know more about ?
Everything surprised me but I didn't know that they use three languages , German, High German and English, so I really want to know more about that and I'm still interested about technology.
2. what is something that you learned about downtown Lancaster from source 2?
Before I came I didn't know much about Lancaster but when I saw this source I know that are a lot of things to do here, going to museums, bars, restaurants and that some people come here just to visit and know more about the city.

3 3. Which place shown in the Lancaster video was most interesting to you? Why?
For me the most interesting place was The Central Market because there you can find different types of food from different places.
4. How does downtown Lancaster seem similar to or different from the town you are currently living in? Your hometown?
I think Downtown Lancaster is totally different from my city in Brazil because I used to live in a big city and here is kinda small so I have less options of what to do than in Brazil.
5. What is your reaction to the article about Amish romance novels and TV shows (Sources 3a and b)? How do you think you might react if you were an Amish person? How do you think you might react if romance novels or TV shows were being written about your home community by outsiders?
I think was kinda weird because those TV shows were not written by people from the Amish community so don't have much information about them or they can give wrong informations for who doesn't know much about those people and If I were from this community I'd feel bothered because someone is talking about but he doesn't know me.
6. Have you ever used Uber? How does that shape your impression of Source 3c? Do you think you would take an Amish Uber if you had the chance?
S Sometimes I need to use uber , especially on the weekends and when I saw this source about the Amish uber I was surprised because I've never thought about this possibility and I'd like to take an Amish uber just once to sse how is it.
7. Have you ever participated in a race? How do you think running in non-traditional running clothes might affect your experience (based on Source 3d)?
No, I've never participated in a race because it's not something interesting for me and I think that must be really uncomfortable to run in non-traditional running clothes because how can you run using slacks and suspenders ? It doesn't seem good for me but it must be normal for them.
8. Why do you think the Amish community requires its members to dress alike and in those styles?
Because it's a tradition for them, everyone needs to dress alike because it's part of their tradition and they want to keep it alive.
9. Have you ever had to wear a uniform? Did you like or dislike wearing the uniform? How did that experience affect you?
I have and I use to feel okay with it because It was something normal in my school but when I went to college I felt weird because I did't have to wear uniform .
10. What is one question about the Amish or Lancaster that you are excited to find out more about?
I would like to know how they can live with no much technology because for me it's har to live without it.
